review 1: It s late November along the shores of northern Lake Michigan. Deer season has been open for a few days and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. A local TV anchorwomen, in the process of separating from her husband, is returning home from an early morning yoga class with her young twin daughters in near blizzard conditions when the bullet from a high caliber weapon tears through her chest. Who would have reason to shoot her?Is it her soon to be ex-husband?Is it someone she has upset with her indepth pro gun control program?Or has she perhaps been mistaken for a deer in the near blizzard conditions?Deer Season was a quick easy read with some interesting twists and turns. I guessed the motive for the shooting about half way through the book, BUT got the identity of the s... morehooter completely wrong! A good read.
