review 1: Yow-za! Fantastically erotic and violent beginning in this installment. 3 books down now an the torchered hero/assassin still has not seduced the mob boss into bed. The horny bastard has done it to everyone else though! And what a "ride" that was. Looks like I got my requested "more sex and violence" in book 3! For all you taboo lovers out there, there is a very erotic bit of that included, but I won't spoil it for you....on to book 4!
review 2: I love this series! This installment was a little different than the first two. We see a few more sides of Silvio. I'm not really sure how to describe the sex. It was definitely intense, and while it wasn't nearly as steamy and hot as was previously, it worked with the storyline. Stefano is unfortunately not in... more the picture too much, but we meet Silvio's brother, Franco, who has plenty of his own issues. I cant wait to see how things play out from here. less
