review 1: I really loved this book. Here is a quick summary of the beginning to see if you want to read it. The Time Riders are Liam O'Connor, Maddy Carter, and Sal Vikram. They are all kids who were saved from death to serve as a Time Rider. Their job is simple, keep history how it is supposed to be, and do anything necessary to keep it that way. They have help from their genetically modified support units, Bob and Becks. The Time Riders live in New York City in the Archway, cycling only two days, September 10, 2001 and September 11, 2001. The story starts with the Time Riders enjoying themselves in a museum when a time wave hits. It was a small one that erased Abraham Lincoln from the museum. They rush back to their base to find out that Abraham Lincoln has been killed many years ... morebefore when he should have been. The Time Riders must now travel back in time to save Mr. Lincoln and find out who else has the power to travel in time. Will they ever find who killed Mr. Lincoln, and set the time line back to what it was?
review 2: I love the time riders books, but this one was a little heavy on all the war stuff. I get that this book was about the eternal war, but it kind of got a bit dragged out for me. I get it, it's eternal. The third quarter of the book was like mostly battles and wasn't that necessary to the story. Like its an incorrect timeline anyway so I don't need to know every officer and every boy killed in the trenches. The eugenics were really cool and I loved that part of the war stuff but really, I just want to know what is up with the bear and wtf is pandora?!! Stuff that was only mentioned in literally the last page! Loved most of it. less
