review 1: The Faery Hunt by Alexis PurdyRating 5***** Amy and her brother's are hunters of the Faery. At any given time they may be ones to rummage through the forest for those magical telltale lights. This trip they may have bitten off more than they can chew. This tome instead of three, only two will be returning. Very interesting short read. The author's poetry in the beginning really sets the tone of the novel. Draws the reader in quickly and completely. Editing is great, no awkwardness of flow. I wool love to see this actually like to see expanded into a full length novel.
review 2: I was given this book in return for an honest review. Jay,Craig, and sister Amy are Faery hunters, so when people start to disapear in the forest, the go on the hunt. But this ... moretime, unlike the others, something goes wrong. There are too many of them for the kids to beat. Would you give up yourself to the Faeries to save your family? That is the decision one of the siblings will have to make. This is a really short, short story. I wish it had gone a little more into the 3 siblings and their characters and personalities. Sounds like if she turned it into a novel, it would have promise. I like the idea and would like to see where it leads. less
