review 2: Scarlett O'brien, the main character of the book, who absolutely loves movies, leaving her husband at home, she heads off to New York for an adventure with her best friend Oscar.I picked this book up when shopping in a supermarket, I'd heard of the first book in the series before but I hadn't got round to reading any of them until now. However, having r... moreead this as the first book instead of the actual first book first, I felt the book to me was an excellent story in it's own right so you didn't necessarily have had to have read the other book first to understand what was going on, although I would quite like to read the other books in the series at some point as well.A book I thoroughly enjoyed reading from start to finish and would definitely recommend to other people to read, this book make a great summer read (or any other time of year for that matter!) This book had such an interesting mix of characters from start to finish, definitely one of those feel good books that make you laugh out loud in places, every time I put it down I couldn't wait to pick it up again and carry on reading it. less
