review 1: I didn't like the book from the start. Ew. No. DNFW. I don't know what it was but I didn't feel interested and I don't want to read any more of this shit. It actually put me on a bad mood and I really haven't read more than 15% of the book. The Spanish was a joke, the main character was annoying as hell, and the story was going at such a slow pace for my taste that I just.No. Don't recommend. Ew.
review 2: Not your typical mm romance. 3.5 stars rounded up. Quite well written, but so heavy on LA gang drugs and violence that it was really difficult to wade through. If you like cops vs. bad guys, a wee bit of romance, with a dose of vampire bikers, this might be your cup of tea. AM Riley's got a terrific sense of humor, which helped lighten the dark mood...at leas... moret some of the time. I've already purchased the second in the series, so I'll read it eventually. However, if I don't find Peter and Adam together in this next book, that will be it for me. less
