review 1: Hard to really describe this story, but it is about a young wife who in her utter naivety manages to succeed in the impossible. With everything that is going on in the world right now, this story is one that borders on the fanciful, but despite that, you so very much want to believe it could happen. Amanda Prowse has written this story from the perspective of the young mind of Poppy Day and in doing so, writes a beautiful story of love and commitment.
review 2: Quirky Poppy Day shows the world that you don't have to be someone in order to achieve courageous things. Honest and good, Poppy rescues her hostage Mart,by sheer bloody audacity. Wasn't sure of it to begin with but then really got into it. Heartbreaking read.
