review 1: Oh my, how to begin. I almost became a DNF with this one. The first 1/3 was slow and unengaging, that bad. OK, the guy had a traumatic experience, we won't give you any details, he's in the closet, hiding behind a girlfriend. But and that's a big but, the second about 2/3 of the story are everything he first third are not. I feel that Tommy should have been introduced sooner. I'm really glad I stuck with this one but actually would give it 3.5 stars were it possible.
review 2: This was rough! For the first part of the book, I couldn't empathize or understand what Chase was going through. I was like Donnie, just tell everyone, anyone, stop all this downward spiral. But then I got it, I did. I felt so sad. That was a lot. Too much for one person. I'm so... more glad that he had and has a support system. Thank goodness for Tommy. :) I was hoping for a good ending because I was going to throw something if it wasn't, lol.I like this author but man, every time after I finish one of her books, I'm all. I want a sappy, no sad book, lol. less
