review 1: The Swedish crime-writing duo delivers an earlier novel to the English-speaking market. This one provides more background to character development that we saw in "Three Seconds," and also provides a more thoughtful plot. The futility and injustice of the death penalty is explored here, although it must be said that the final revelation in the novel also reveals the authors' ignorance of how the death penalty in the US is applied in terms of class.
review 2: Great read, well written, so many twists and turn, hard to put down and even when I thought it had reach a slow down point that I was about to lose interest it took off again and I was hooked.
