review 1: This was more like a 3.5. Not as good as the first overall but the scenes with Len had me bawling, as well as the letter Geoffy read from his father. I had many teary moments with this one. The Geoff and Eli story was, a little watered down. I didn't feel like I got a lot from them but what I did get was great. I really liked them both and wish I got to experience more of their coming together. This book suffered from a little 'told and not experienced'.
review 2: This is my new favorite story from Andrew Grey's collection of books. Geoff is an accountant that is living the fast life in Chicago, going from one bed to another , his only constant in life , his best friend Raine. Geoff is force to returned to his family farm after the death of his father after lon
... moreg struggle with cancer. There he is received by Len , his dad's partner and in reality second dad. Geoff is confronted with the decision of returning to Chicago or taking responsibility of the farm, he decides to stay. Here he is welcome, the ranch hands are family to him. All changes one morning when He finds Elijah sleeping in the barn. Elijah is scared and tries to leave until he explains to Geoff that he is Amish and He is to be outside of the community for year or what they call Rumshpringa ... Elijah and Geoff start spending lots of the time together , naturally Eli has many questions and doubts about being accepted. Geoff is always sincere with him and honest. Eli has been afraid for long of the possible feelings and of his own rejection. His family could be shunned by the community. Love starts to develop between Geoff and Eli , this when the story turns into a beautiful poem of truth and words ... Geoff tells Eli , he doesn't have to be ashamed of his feelings , there is no shame in love. Nothing they do is different if they have love. The story , indeed , has it twist and all in due time is answered. The message of this first book and I'm betting the rest of the series ... It is that ... Correctly .. Love means ... Plenty. Looking forward to more ... less

I read this after Love Means... Courage and the story felt rather poor in comparison.
