review 1: Another great read in this series! This time we start off with heartache for Bryce. As part of his healing, John and Jerry finally persuade him to spend time on the reservation with them and John's family.Paytah runs the local store, is gruff, grumpy and hostile to Bryce. Paytah's story is also packed with heartache and we gradually see that he isn't so much hostile as hiding from life. I enjoyed both Bryce and Paytah's return to life with each other. The other aspect is the insight we get into the life and issues faced by Native Americans, without coming over as too preachy. I've enjoyed thefirst 2 books in the series, and will be continuing on.
review 2: This is the first book I bought for my new Sony E-reader and I am not disappointed in the least with my pu
... morerchase. I waited quite a while to be able to read this book and had in fact given up hope that I ever would. This is in part why this book was such a great read, I finally had what I thought I couldn't have. On another note the story that Andrew Grey spins for us in this book is heart-wrenching and based on his research into his subject matter. The story is strong and a bitter part of a reality that we may not have stopped to think about. I definitely recommend having a box of tissue close by for this story. I have not read "The Good Fight" yet but it's definitely on my list to read very soon. I leave my review at this for now until I review the notes I made while reading. Cheers! less
