Mas há coisas que estão para além do nosso alcance...Um livro que vale bem a pena ser lido.
review 2: (Note: I read the edi... moretion titled The One I Love. It also seems to be available as So What If I'm Broken)Hurrah! What a breath of fresh air this book was. It was a great combination of mystery, romance and humour with a couple of dysfunctional families thrown in to keep the pace moving. I found there were so many characters you could relate to in some way, whether it is Rose's 'tell it like it is' attitude, Leslie's fierce independence/ hiding from the world, Elle's mishaps, Jane's mothering instinct or Tom's lost soul and they all provided much humour. I laughed aloud so many times in this book with the frank comments made between the friends and Rose's behaviour. The dynamics between all the relationships felt real and believable, developing in a way that wasn't always as predicted and I really felt myself rooting for Tom, hoping some resolution would be found for him.I will definitely go on to read more by this author as she has really grabbed my attention with The One I Love, I hope the other books are of a similar style. less
