review 1: I really liked it. I liked the characters in the book. I liked that they are not all young and thin. Some are married, some have been married. I felt that I could relate easily with the characters.Someone commented that they didn't really do any real detecting. Most people would not. This story seemed more what the average person would do if their friend was accused of a murder when they knew the friend was not guilty. They expect the police to do their jobs but keep trying to understand why their friend is accused.I liked the knitting classes and the bonding they did while knitting. I have recently started crocheting again and it is so relaxing. I need to find a group like this.I look forward to reading the next book.
review 2: I enjoyed this knitting mystery ... moreset in Plum Harbor, Massachusetts. The main character, Lucy Binger, is an interesting combination of a mellow, easy-going temeperament and bouts of insecurity. It was great when she adopted the murdered woman's dog, and I loved all the knitting projects and talk. The developing relationship with the veterinarian was also fun, and did not in any way take over from the mystery story. I'll be reading the next in the series sometime soon. less
