review 1: 3.0 Really.I love this series. I really do. This story, however, I dislike, through and through.Ok. SO I really shouldn't start with the end of the book, but I'm going to start at the end of the book. What the "cape" is going on here? Nick? Seriously? Uggh. This is why I had to start with him because after I read that, I quit caring about what was going on. I care none. I don't really know what the ending was. I have no idea. I just can't believe we headed down that road. He's going to leave her for Paisley Skye, just wait and see. Stupid. Stupid! Stupid!!
review 2: Welcome to the world of vintage clothing. In the 4th installment of the Vintage Magic series, Madeira Cutler is the owner of the Vintage Magic Thrift shop in Mystic Connecticut. She's waiting for he
... morer new intern, courtesy of her sister Brandy. And when she finds her at the train station, she's DOA. And that places Madeira into a world of intrigue and family surprises, when the real intern shows up on her doorstep. There's a paranormal twist with a talking ghost, some witchcraft and some haunting flashbacks to the past from the previous owner. And when it all adds up, a good intriguing mystery of vintage clothing to preserve for your own. Plus Madeira is caught up into a love triangle between Nick the FBI agent, and Lytton the hot detective. In the end, she makes the decision and the man she wants. This is an enjoyable cozy. less
