review 1: This book is really a book that you have to read out of ordinary. Its quite refreshing reading this book, May-December affair in reverse (Younger male, older female). This book is kind of a knocked off, very fast phase, it was so fast i could barely remember details of the events and how they ended up and who fucked who, where and how. It was that fast.Is it really possible for 40 years old to do mountain climbing? Seriously? And I noticed something, when Pearl was talking about Natalie, her boss with Alexandre, it was not mentioned that "Natalie" was the name of the boss (Pearl haven't mentioned the name) but Alexandre says that Natalie was a common name in some place. Was that an error or something?Anyway, I like the story and very refreshing though too much of something i... mores bad. Too much sex and quickies are just too much.
review 2: Never heard of this book until it was mentioned in another book. I was pleasantly surprised. Finally a story where the woman is 40. Of course a much younger billionaire who happens to be French falls for Pearl. It's refreshing to know that Alexandre falls in love and finds Pearl so beautiful and desire able with the 15 yr. age difference. This so far doesn't seem to be the typical cougar love story. There are 3 books in the series, can't wait to continue on. less

I love the story line. Well written, somewhat instantaneous, but still a good story. There were parts that was just so funny you had to re read to make sure that's what you really read. Sex scenes, the same. The sex scenes in this book were explosive. Not mechanical like most, not extreme or they didn't try to be like some copy cats. Unique in the sense that it took normal sex to another level. V8 is the best name ever...worth all 5 stars just for that!

Very good story! Kept me scrolling. 1st book in the 'what to read after FSOG' gemstone collection.

I didn't like the main character. She was too insecure for a supposedly successful woman.
dang
