review 1: Not as good as the earlier books in this series. There didn't seem to be as much depth in the story then everything was explained in a rush at the end. Even then, the explanation was laboured. There was a struggle to make something of racial prejudice in the motive but it seems not a huge issue in Iceland. The motive, when revealed, is probably what motivates many murders but in a novel it was a bit of a let-down.
