The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
review 1: I hadn't read this one before, evidently tales of opium dens and street beggars don't make it into the childrens version of Holmes I read as a young boy(!)There aren't many clues but the conclusion is still pretty obvious unfortunately. I also have a problem with the fact a wife can't see through make up, however well applied, at short distance or discern the fact that her husband's clothes stink of the opium den he walks through at the end of each day.

... moreause his wife was worried about him, and then he bumps into Sherlock Holmes in disguise and leaps into the mystery. I really enjoyed this one. less
