review 1: I won the first reads contest for this book. I could barely put it down! I have read all of her previous books set in this world and was not disappointed in this one. This is the second book in a new series set in the same world as her Dhampir series. The protagonists are two women - Céline and Amelie who have the ability to see into the future and the past. They are tasked with seeing why soldiers in the silver mine to the north are turning into wolves and stopping it.The story is well written - I finished it in two days. It introduced some new characters that should show up in future books. Hopefully that will help fill in some of the background on where the sister's abilities came from. I am looking forward to another book in the series.
review 2: Very muc... moreh adoring this series! I was hesitant to start this series at first because the Noble Dead Saga is already quite long and I thought another series set in the same universe might get old. However, this is definitely not the case! Instead I feel like this series breathes new life into this universe and expands it so well. The Fawe sisters are interesting to watch as they learn more about their gifts and their heritage. I especially liked seeing them interact with Marcus and Mercedes. Can't wait for the next installment! less
