Rise Again
review 1: A pretty bad sequel. Too long with too many meandering ideas that really could have been done in a shorter space. Some hardcore editing (much like George R.R. Martin seriously needs), might have made this better. Three types of zombies, Moaners (normal), Hunters (Resident Evil types) and Thinkers, which I could seriously have done without. I don't care for running or smart zombies. Zombies pretending to be human and using humans (I will admit seeing humans as sheep after a disaster of this magnitude was decent)was a little farfetched. It's mostly the long parts where Danny (a more interesting character in the first book) roams around self-hating that brought this book down for me. If she's this full of self loathing, why hasn't she killed herself? The end was a bit unbelie... morevable and convoluted. I really enjoyed the first book better.
review 2: Rise Again, the first novel, left me wanting to rip a zero's head off after that ending. There's no question, if you read the first novel you will read the sequel Rise Again Below Zero. I liked this book, the concept and most of all it picks up right where the first book left off. However, I felt the book was stalling at certain spots and dragging certain scenes out when it was not necessary. The book also contained a lot of grammar errors, kind of kills the read. Other then that I did enjoy this novel and if you read the first, you need to see what happens. less

So good. I wish I would have read them in order but I didn't and it was still worth it!

Loved the first book. But, as a sequel, this one misses the mark.

This book is available, folks. Plenty zombie mayhem.
