review 1: loved this book...but then I expect nothing less from Bette! She has such a way with words that it drew me into the story, hating Elliott for being a slimy relative, and John for what he put Abigail through for all that time and loving Destiny for her innocence and love for Abigail. The story leaves you hanging and you'll have to read Previously Loved Treasures to continue with the story...or at least to find out what happens to a certain item!
review 2: This was a good read about the friendship of a young woman to an old woman and basically whether or not the relationship was built on selfish motivation or pure motives. There were so many good aspects to the story, and a few sad aspects. The writing was very good. It did jump back and forth between the mai
... moren character's past and the present, narrated by the main character after her death. Usually that bugs me a bit, but in this case it kept the story interesting and the time periods were quite clear in the writing. It was a totally believable story. I wish we could give half stars because I'd actually give this 3.5 stars. It's a sweet story. less
