review 1: This was my first read in this series. I loved it to the extreme. The characters were full bodied (not literally) and breathtakingly real. Not giving away anything, I loved the gift sent by the birth mother and the short note. It spoke volumes on so many different levels. I loved the fact that the step father could admit to not knowing how to be a dad, asking for forgiveness and a do over. I loved it when the young lady said that in order for her to have a boyfriend, the boy had to first talk with her father. I loved the assignments and the extra curricular activities given by the teacher. I loved the "got your back" attitude held by the general community. I loved most the children and their support and honest talk. OOOOOopppps, my comic relief was the love one man had fo... morer his pig and the lengths he went to in order to save His pigs life. I'm hooked and want to know if I can join the Henry Adams community!
review 2: The town of Henry Adams, Kansas always has excitement and tons of drama! I love the Blessings Series by Jenkins. The stories are intricately weaved and filled with love of family and community! If all communities were like this one, our cities would be much better!I can't wait to see how Jack and Rocky's relationship develops and what the "We're So Slick Gang" will get into next!!!! AWESOME SERIES!!! less
