review 1: This book moved at a faster pace than the first in the trilogy (Pines). However, I found the main character less likable in this entry, despite what is learned about the other characters. Yes, I realize he is supposed to be the good guy, but Crouch's attempt to make Ethan a flawed character didn't work with me. Instead what it did is make Pilcher a character who behaves/reacts in an inconsistent manner.
review 2: Wow! Breathless. I was not able to put it down. I could have read it in one day but had to work but wow! In this second book of the series all pieces are put in place remarkably well and the characters and the plot is breath taking. The thriller keep me on the edge of this masterpiece and I will start the third tomorrow for sure. Thanks to the autho... morer for sharing with us and I am anxious to see how FOX will put it on tv.. less
