review 1: This is a rare example of a sequel that is just as good if not better than the first in the series. I had no idea where the series was going to go but it all followed a wonderful, logical series of events that never seemed forced or ridiculous despite the incredible overarching story. Truly a great read, would have been 4 1/2 stars, just short of pitch perfect, only because I didn't feel right rating it on par with Crime and Punishment. It's great but it's not canonical. Get this series and read it before the series premieres in 2015.

... moreage. It has to be the action, because the character development kinda stinks. I wasn't sure how to rate this, but when I asked myself if I can't wait to get the third one the answer was 'meh, I could take it or leave it'. less
