review 1: Firstly this book being about fairies will appeal to a lot of little girls who are obsessed with fairies. But Graham's fairies are BOTH genders, they work and he has his usual beautiful way of portraying families. I love that this book looks at parents trusting kids and children's independence. Also the sweetly humorous look at age.It left such a good and loving feeling in me. Beautiful, beautiful book
review 2: I enjoyed this book; it was quite different. April and Esme are children of tooth fairies, assigned their first mission. They manage to complete their task, but not without help from their parents. I enjoyed this because it shows children how beautiful independence is, but that we must never forget how we reached that point in the first place: our paren
... morets. I also enjoyed the play on technology; including texting and phone calls makes the book apt more relatable to this generation. less
