review 1: How to Heal a Broken Wing was a a great picture book. The book itself had good artwork and was a very simple read. Its more of a picture book with a few words on each page. The story is abotu a bird to flew into a skyscraper. The bird fell to the floor and no one stopped to help him. Except one boy named Will. Will took the bird home and with hope and time the bird flew again.Age group: P-3. It was an easy read
review 2: An amazing book! Beautiful. The pictures say so much about the story - illustrations are important. You have to read the pictures as well as the words. For the student dealing with sickness in the family or loss, or who has experienced a sickness of some sort. Wonderful example of compassion and caring. In a unit based on "What can one little
... more person do?" this book would be a great book to read. less
