review 1: Holy Cow! This books is awesome, it has feasting, fun and a Stripy-Stripy Club. With the pictures and entertaining storyline it's perfect for a 3-7yo story time, lap sit or to enjoy while sitting at your desk procrastinating before work. My only complaint is that I had to look for the writing once, but then I'm lazy and not very smart. Highly recommended. For the children who need a more sphosciated version of the Dinosaur books. Can't wait to use my monster voice to read this one at story time.
review 2: I really enjoy Bob Shea's books and artwork. Buddy is, alas, a monster. And he has decided he wants to eat the three bunnies. But the bunnies convince him to bake cupcakes first. Buddy eats a LOT of cupcakes and - he's too full to eat the bunnies but h... moree promises to come back the next day and eat them all up. Next day he does return but - the bunnies convince Buddy to go swimming! Spoiler alert -- Buddy never does eat the exponentially growing bunny population. This would make a truly wonderful read aloud. My almost 2-1/2 year old granddaughter was delighted. less
