review 1: Harvath and Carlton are hired by the Federal Reserve to look into who is behind the kidnappings and murder of five top candidates to be the next Chairman. Thor teaches the reader about the Federal Reserve and its history, as well as its weasel ways. Of course, no conspiracy is complete without a sneaky Saudi or two to threaten the economy, freedom and the U.S. in general. Boston is one of the main settings for the story to unfold as the stakes rise and terrorism explodes on the streets of one of America's founding cities.
review 2: This book was listed for discussion by one of my book clubs. I tried to read it and stopped about 1/4 the way. It may be a great book if it is your kind of book but I just could not begin to enjoy the reading experience. The only
... more thing that caught my interest was the historical information about the sons of liberty. I am not going to rate the book because I feel it inappropriate to put a low rating when I chose to discontinue because I do not relish this genre. less
