review 1: Thor writes great action and suspense, so for the life of me I can't figure out why there's so little of it. Having read almost every book in the Harvath series, they have a certain formula, I just wish Thor could break free from this formula. Most of the book is full of fluff, either long-winded setting things up or recounting backgrounds from previous books. Please, get to the point and move things along, damnit!
review 2: This was my third Thor novel. I found myself not believing this story as it progressed into the middle of the storyline. Overcome by political agendas rather than creating a story that would keep the reader into the length of the novel really became disparaging.
