review 1: This trade was a bit rockier than the other volumes of Chiang and Azzarello's Wonder Woman, but those last few pages really brought this story home. I am a sucker for a good fist pump moment, and the last few pages of Volume 5 delivered that for me. The only nitpick I have for this run in general is the First Born doesn't have the overwhelming charisma that all of the other characters do. He's a boring brute. Thankfully, he isn't the focus of the story, but is instead just the obstacle being built up for our heroes to conquer, so I'm cool with it.
review 2: I have to admit this series is probably the most constantly good comic book DC is publishing. Wonder Woman is literally being redefined for a new generation. The Greek mythos is also a grand toy for Brian A
... morezzarello to play with. Cliff Chang's artwork is pretty good as well. I do not have any complaints. I just wish all the DC comics could be this good. Please DC let Brian have a crack at the New Gods and maybe even Super girl. less

Brian Azzarello pens another interesting chapter in one of the greatest highlights of the New 52.
Marlene
Lame villain who was evil for the sake of being evil. Great art, though.
