review 1: Jean Grey has always been one of my favorite X-Men characters and I am really enjoying the All- New X-Men storyline involving the young Jean dealing with the disastrous future ahead of her. The concept of this book is particularly intriguing- young Jean of the past is captured and put on trial for the genocide she has not yet committed when her future self is possessed by the powerful Phoenix force. Add the Guardians of the Galaxy into the mix and one of my current comic crushes, space lady Angela, and you are in for some fun reading.
review 2: This could have been great, instead it was just okay. First of all it should have been longer. And we should have has more chance with a bunch of these characters. And then we would have been able to believe the actions ... moreof those characters followed their motivations. Instead everything was confused and jumpy. And Jean's new powers, it is hard to follow what's going on there. And enough with the idiotic yiddish-isms coming out of Kitty's mouth - they really aren't her. And the random appearance of the Starjammers could have been much better. But still it was a fun book and should have an important place in the mythos. less
