review 1: Good writing? Check. Interesting plot? Check. Origin story/'In the beginning' story? Double check. It was good, I'm just not a huge fan of watching people get started in their superhero awesomeness because I get so pissed off at them early on, especially when there's unnecessary angst or fighting. I usually just end up skipping the annoying parts and move on with the story. So maybe this is a slightly unfair 4 stars because the writing was good, it's just my personal taste.
