review 1: The biggest problem with the TT books I've the last how many years has been the writing. It's been lazy and reliant on the team's early history to move itself along without doing much in the way of advancing newer characters. Add to that the fact that the writers are extremely out of touch with the youth of today and you get something that feels forced and hackneyed. Bryan Miller is just what the book needed. A shot in the arm to get it moving instead of sitting around reflecting on the changes to the team and the past in general, Miller pushes the team into dangerous situations and brings a truly youthful style to the writing.

Blue Beetle does shine, but Miss Martian and Bombshell feel totally out of place. This is recommended for only true Teen Titans fans; otherwise, skip it. less
