review 1: I was looking forward to catching up with the guys of Cattle Valley, but sadly I was disappointed.This could have, and in my mind should have, been a stand alone story. I felt no connection to the Cattle Valley series, despite meeting up with a few regulars. I can't help feeling that part of the reason for this book was to set Guy up for his story. And please what is with the sudden food fetish? First corn on the cob and now Candy Floss yuck, wasn't the lacy panties enough kink?I'm hoping the next one gets back on track, but I'm kinda preparing myself to say goodbye to this series.
review 2: I really enjoyed the story, but... Maybe it's that this series has been going on for so long and there have been so many characters as secondaries, or maybe it's because ... moreI've let too long a space of time occur between reading the books, or maybe it's something else rather than either of those, but I don't remember the two main characters being introduced before. I liked them, but other than the story location and the brief roles of a few past characters, I didn't think this one really feel like part of the series. less
