review 1: I liked this mainly because of the two main characters. There wasn’t much in terms of plot since it’s a part of a trilogy with a ‘mystery’ spanning the entire series. The conflict was a bit contrived IMO too. The hero and the heroine were unapologetic and upfront about their characters too. And I like that. I liked that they are secure enough in their self that there’s no need for subterfuge and apologies like so many romances I’ve read.
