review 1: I was really looking forward to reading Dewar's story. I was a little disappointed with this book. There were some really good parts in this story. It did have some funny parts to it, but for me it had to many boring parts. I felt like the book was dragging on. I really did love Haley in this story. I like Carolyn Brown and I will still continue to read her books. It's just that some of her books are a hit and miss with me.

... morey easy to root for. Their happily ever after journey has it's twists and turns but reaches a satisfying ending. The pacing is a bit uneven in parts, especially at the beginning, but the beautifully written settings and descriptions make up for any pacing issues! The setting becomes a character in the story, and is as powerful as any human character. The novel could stand alone, but do yourself a favor and read the series, you won't be disappointed.*I received my copy from NetGalley.com in exchange for an honest review. less
