review 1: 'Harris finds his feet ' is a good book for exploring ideas in PSHE and is suitable for all ages 3+.It is about a rabbit who finds that he has all these features that are different and he questions whether he will still be loved. He is reassured by his mum that he is loved just the same even if he were to pass away. Although this book is quite sad and quite simple, I like howit explains the idea of love and death in a way that can be understood by children of all ages.
review 2: A good read :-) For children aged 5+ due to the themes raised. This book is about a hare called Harris who does not quite know why he has big feet. He asks'Why do I have such enormous feet, Grandad?' Harris learns through Grandad that he can hop high into the sky, climb to the tops of ... morethe mountains, and run very fast, with his purpose made feet. Harris learns the importance of finding his own feet, which is a central theme within the book. Other themes are: the relationship with elders,the way they introduce us to the wider world,the joys of exploration. less
