review 1: Cute little sidepiece the the Fables series of comics. This particular graphic novel centers on Cinderella and her exploits as a spy for Fabletown. Love, love, love the cover art and the reprinted cover art from the original comics on the inside and the art for the story itself is also quite good. The story is interesting and fun and takes cues from the Bond mythos (as is pretty obvious by the title). Some fun side characters (Puss in Boots is pretty amusing) as well as cameos from Jenny Wren and Dickory the Mouse. Has a slapstick-y side story about Cinderella's cover story/day job at the shoe store she owns. As always, the Fables series is a great addition to the comic world.

The town's sheriff sends Cindy on missions to protect the secret nature of the Fables' existence, among other things. This first collection sees Cindy trying to find and stop the importation of magical artifacts from the Homelands. Along the way, via flashbacks, Cindy recalls her spy life. A fun read. less
