review 2: Oh this was a blast! Incredibly funny and such a nice change from how serious Fables has gotten lately. Cindy AKA Cinderella, owns a show store in Fabletown but mostly leaves he
... morer hapless employee, Crispin, in charge which might not be so smart. Her REAL job is spy/detective/underground agent first for Bigby now for Beast. Beast sends her on an errand to find out where all these magical tools are coming from. She flies to Paris and meets Aladdin for the first time. The story's second best line among many was her reflection maybe I've been too hard on Aladdin since we both come from cinders and ashes! Best line bar none: her reflection when first meeting Aladdin: "Another prince. Charming." (note that she was one of the many ex wives of Prince Charming) Lots and lots of unarmed fights....Cindy's specialty... and just plain fun! A world where smiles are MANDATED. Boy that is really dark stuff there! And you won't BELIEVE who is the villain here! Note that even though there is a different author, Willingham is listed as consultant so this will be true to Fabletown. Of course all ends happily. Or does it really end? On to the next book! less

A very surprising read & I thoroughly enjoyed it. Breathtaking illustrations with a solid storyline.

Fun James Bond-ish spy story set in the Fables universe... pretty light & forgettable by the end.

So much fun!I think this is what Fabled needed. Someone other than Willingham at the helm.

Not comparable to the main series.
