Could she trust him?she was so tired of running, and she needed help, what did she know of babies?She had been taught to be a soldier almost from birth, then thrust into Whitney's breeding program, her and her sisters tried protecting themselves, she alone had an edge, s... morehe had Kane.With both Whitneys men hunting them and a drug cartel for the bounty he would pay, could they survive, could they make it until Kanes team, his family as he called them could pull them out, and more importantly could she trust herself near Kane.This was my first time reading this series though I have read the Carpathian novels and enjoyed them extensively. I could relate to their childhoods as well as military training and often question the very things they did, the things most take for granted but for others is a struggle to understand,Thumbs up to Christine Feehan and I look forward to reading more in this series.
review 2: I enjoy the Ghost Walker Series very much. I love the code of honor, and their special gifts. I am always glad when they get to triumph over the doctor who ran experiments on them, to make super soldiers...I love the romance when they find someone to love, and care for. This book had a different twist since the girl, he has to save is a Ghost walker, and having his child....not telling...so good...read for yourself....loved it.... less
