review 1: This book introduces Team 3 - the Urban Warfare GhostWalker Team. Mack McKinley is the leader of this team. Jaimie is the girl he grew up with - who also became a GW with him, but could not handle the missions. After training she took off and although he has kept track of her, he has not seen her in several years. The team is after terrorists who are planning to buy weapons - but they end up in Jaimie's warehouse instead. The terrorists are Doomsday - a group that they almost died trying to rescue hostages from in their first mission as a GW team.We have met Kane Cannon and Brian Hutton in earlier books. Kane helped women escape from Whitney in Mari's book and Brian was the sound man watching Tansy in Jesse's book. This group all grew up together in Chicago except for ... morethe new guy - Paul - who they don't really trust. Javier Enderman- tech and skateboarder who can blend in with the street teens. Gideon - sniper. Jacob Princeton, Ethan, Lucas, Marc, Sergent Major Griffen gives their orders - but did he send Kane and Brian on suicide missions? Rhianna is another one who grew up with them but she is off doing undercover work on her own. Joe Spagnola is watching Jaimie - and part of team 4 made up of Air Force Pararescue. Prof Chilton is one of Jaimie's profs from Stanford who helped her start a business when she left the GWs. I am pretty sure one of the higher ups in the GW chain of command is also a Chilton. Col Wilford is also in that chain. Found it - Griffen says he toured Whitney's lab with Senator Romney, Brig. Gen. Tommy Chilton and Col. Wilford.With Jaimie's computer magic they are able to trace the person trying to kill Jaimie and Griffen to DC and Earl Thomas Bartlett - who is a reinvention of Phillip Thornton - the guy blamed for "killing" Whitney and an owner of Donovan labs. Mack and Gideon and Javier go to Bartlett's house and tape him meeting with Violet Freeman and later Jacob Abrams. Mack has the touch/ kill power that Tansy has and he takes this guy out with a "heart attack".
review 2: I liked the story it was ok, but I was thrown through a big loop when I realized this was a story about the 3rd Ghostwalker team. o_0Mack was an ok hero, He's not as cold as the other heros of the books but when he did go into "warrior mode" it was sexy as hell.Jamie was the typical braniac ghostwalker female. She did honestly didn't have any too stupid to live times to my surprise.Story - 3.25Narrator - 3.5 less
