review 1: Things are really starting to get odd in this volume. Watanuki confronts his cooking student about her eating problem, so upsettin g her that she storms off and doesn't return for over a month. She does take his advice eventually though and samples her own food, which brings her face to face with her own lack of personality. In the larger storyline, Yuko has disappeared and seems to be caught up by some sort of nefarious magic. Watanuki's whole world is slowly crumbling, and even when he makes a wish to see Yuko again we can't be sure of the outcome.
review 2: I flew through this volume!! I wanted to know what was going to happen... and I totally shed some tears at the end. I'm giving this volume 4 stars because it kept me hooked and the emotional connection I ... moremade at the end. I'm still wondering what the random cooking side storyline is there for...hopefully it'll have a reason and not just because CLAMP wanted to keep the series going just a little bit longer.But OMG YUKO-SAN!!!!!!! less
