review 1: This book is my ABSOLUTE favorite of The Gardella Chronicles. Gleason gets down to the emotional level on these characters, and I LOVED it. Once I made that connection, I was no longer an outsider looking in. I became a character, who experienced all the conflicts both the hero and heroine face. I cried a lot with this book, but I also laughed and got ticked off. It was a wonderful ride. One I hope to get back on real soon.
review 2: I nearly didn't keep reading after the first book in this series, but I'm glad I continued. I feel like this series just keeps getting better as it goes along. Guilty pleasure reading, certainly, but an interesting plot line that kept me wondering how things would turn out. And makes me really glad there's another book to come.... more I just wish the covers weren't so embarrassing. My husband keeps teasing me whenever I start reading the next one. less
