review 2: Megan finished this series a couple days ago. She read all of them, but I've read them to her before. She has now started reading The Weather Fairies and is a few books into that one already. I guess it helps that she was sick this weekend and didn't feel like doing anything but reading. She really likes these books as she is very into fairies at the moment. The books are simple and follow a simple pattern. Jack Frost steals something from the fairies in each series. The fairies look to two young girls to help them recover these missing items. Predictable, but perfect for a young girl Megan's age (5) up to probably 3rd or 4th grade. My one complaint is the fairies are sometimes not in the most modest clothing. It's noticeable enough that Megan has actually commented on it. Usually it's something like, "Her dress is pretty, but it's not modest." I guess because they are fairies we can forgive them. less
