review 1: This perky board book is sure to inspire dress-up ideas for little girls. Lulu loves to play dress up. The pictures show what Lulu dresses up as, while the text explains what Lulu does in each costume. What disappointing about this board book, though, is the lack of detail in the images. There could have been more done besides just having Lulu in her outfit, standing there. When she was a tiger, why not show her acting like a tiger? The cover had a pop-out image that babies could grab onto, which was a nice touch. This book is recommended as an additional purchase if you need books about dress-up for readers ages 1-3 years old.
review 2: Borrowed this board book from the library, and my 2.5 year old can't get enough of it. She loves to re-create the characters ... morethat Lulu dresses up as. She learned all the words from it right off the bat - including astronaut. I'm going to have to buy our own copy. I'm giving it five stars due to the intensity with which my child loves the book. The drawings are very cute, and it's very simple and short. less
