review 1: Lulu goes camping with her family and her dog Bingo. When they decide to set up camp she sees that Bingo is running around everywhere sniffing everything and cant stay still! Papa puts Bingo on a leash so they he can be safe and Lulu walks his around everywhere. Lulu learns how to enjoy the great outdoors in this book, it is amazing and magical to her with how peaceful everything is. But she accidentally lets go of the leash and looses Bingo, she looks everywhere for him and finnaly finds him! They head back to camp and go to bed, but once the lights are out Firefly girl is up. This book is an easy read meant for younger children in kindergarten or first grade. I would use this book to read aloud in a classroom but male children might not like it. The best quality about th... moreis book is the plot, it is very easy to understand for young children and can easily be comprehended because if its level of complexity, "loosing a dog".
review 2: Ladybug Girl and bingo is a loving book about the relationship between a dog and its owner. It reminded me so much of my childhood dog because growing up I didnt have very many friends, so I mostly played with my dog Mickey. I would use my imagination and make everything I did with him a game and make things fun. Ladybug and her family go camping and they take Bingo their dog with them. Bingo keeps on running away and getting off of the leash. Ladybug girl shows bingo the stars and her brother tells her those arent the stars those are fireflies, and then instead of going to sleep she turns into "Firefly Girl." This book shows how sometimes youre best friend is your pet, they are there for you no matter what through thick and thin, and they love you unconditionally no matter what. I would teach my class about animals and talk to them about their pets, for an activity I would bring in my dog Buddy, who is a bloodhound to show the class as an interactive lesson.Soman, David, and Jacky Davis.
