review 1: This book is about an ordinary girl who goes to sleep and dreams she is a fantastic princess that helps everyone. What really caught my attention is that the words aren't just straight and at the bottom of the page, but slant and swirl all over the pages. It made it more interesting to read, at least for me. It's very much a book for only girls, so it wouldn't be good to read to a whole class. If there was a student who just loved princesses then the teacher could always recommend it.
review 2: My daughter couldn't resist this book with it's pink cover of a princess riding a dragon. It's a clever idea of a regular girl who has to follow the rules by day, but can have wild adventures as a princess by night. This isn't your ordinary princess. She goes to fancy
... more balls and wears sparkly dresses, but she also rescues dragons and saves people from fires. This princess does it all. I especially liked that the mom participates in her daughter's nighttime fun. It's a cute story with bright, fun illustrations. less
