review 1: I really enjoyed this book, some nice short (and not so short) stories to cheer me up after reading The Dying of The Light.As well written as the Skulduggery Pleasant novels, and links the books together nicely. It was nice to see things like how Valkyrie met Caelan, etc. Frequently throughout 'Get Thee Behind Me, Bubba Moon', I forgot I was reading Skulduggery Pleasant, and thought it was a horror fiction. Imagine my surprise when a skeleton shows up to save the day.
review 2: About four hundred pages of short stories and two novellas for of my favourite book series, how could I say no?While they are not all amazing (one of them is from a first person view and half the story goes by before you see Skulduggery himself.)they are all funny and very well written.... more It swaps genre every now and then because of the nature of what Skulduggery's job is in the story (or what other characters from the universe are doing) and it all works very well. Well worth the read, it does not take very long and it's really funny, as well as some good story telling. less
