review 1: I'll agree with another reviewer on here that it's difficult to write a DW story in short form because often you need space to develop entire species and planets. But this story is simply clever: the Doctor and Martha land on basically a storybook planet. I won't go into details (River Song hates spoilers) but it was fast paced, witty (of course, since we're dealing with 10), clever (clever, clever, clever), and I didn't want to put it down until I finished it. On a plus, Martha didn't annoy me at all, like she did on TV. Not rated 5 stars because it didn't change my life or anything, but it was good nonetheless.
review 2: This story was nice for a short story but it started getting boring towards the end. the author painted a good picture of The Doctor and Mar
... moretha but i do not think he could have kept us interested in them to write a whole story. The whole mystery wasn't even likeable. the children book characters from Martha's memory didn't really do anything and the only interesting part of the story is when they almost got pushed into he nothing. this short story was not very humorous. i believe the author could have done a better job writing this if they came up with a better idea than a creature manipulating thoughts in your head to make a little world. less

I loved the literary references. Landy has perfected the voice of the Tenth Doctor and Martha.

It was OK, especially he first half, which had some funny parts. Fizzled out at the end.

A great story! Even makes a reference to Skulduggery Pleasant!

Witty. Great 10th portrait.
