review 1: I'm a huge fan of Diane Alberts, but even though this was a fun, quick read, I didn't quite feel the passion and emotions I've come to expect from her novels. I felt very disconnected from this story as a whole. At times it was a little predictable, but I did enjoy the romance aspect - even the cheesy karaoke serenade. I also really liked that Ethan, no matter how gorgeous and manly he had become, still had those little quirks that Ashley loved so much about him when he was a boy. They were a cute couple and it was great that their relationship was one built over time; even though it was broken and needed some major repairing, I got the sense that they knew each other well enough that even though they made a deal to keep things "no strings attached", they both knew that de... moreep down they still cared enough that neither would want to walk away, or lose what they had, after rekindling their friendship after so many years. Readers looking for a quick, romantic read will enjoy this story.
review 2: This book was so hot that it burned my heart! God know how much I love to read best friends became lovers. Also OMG! The cover?! AMAZING!!!!...Ashley Hanes and Ethan Pierce both wanted the same thing on New Year's eve. They want no strings attached sex. But not with each other though.Because back in high school Ethan hurt Ashley even though they were best friends. But everyone has a reason to hate each other...Ashley hate him because without telling no reason he stopped to talking with her. Other hand Ethan stopped to talking with her because Ethan finally going to confess to her but she was with someone else with kissing someone. So he thought she wants someone else...other than Ethan.I absolutely love this novella.It was so sexy and the same time it was very sad for me. I said sad because I'm always feel sorry a man who with broken heart :(This one my second read from Diane and I enjoyed so much!!!! less
