review 1: I randomly picked this book at the library. It amazed me.The plot,the parallel storylines that all lead to one story at the end.What made an impression on me were two things. Firstly, how much is hidden from us in this world,how many things are disgused and in shaddow. That's the case with the catolic priests. It really made me reasearch if it were true.Secondly,how the writer in between the horrible crimes infiltrated life lessons and thoughts that made me think deeper. Like the story of Sandras husband David and the girl on the beach and coincidences.Thirdly,even though it ended with death,it was a positive ending, showing us that even the most evil human creatures such as the transformist have that human side somewhere deep inside and that it can be restored. review 2: Ανατρεπτικό, καθηλωτικό, πρωτότυπο, ένα πάζλ που χτίζεται με επιμέλεια και απίστευτη υπομονή. Έψαχνα καθόλη τη διάρκεια της ανάγνωσης να βρω μια τρύπα, τόσες λεπτομέρειες τόση ανάλυση…δεν βρήκα τρύπα ούτε λάθος, όλα ήταν σουπερ οργανωμένα απο την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος, πραγματικα ο Carrisi τα δουλεύει τα βιβλία του, οχι αστεία. Η αφήγηση είναι τριτοπρόσωπη από την οπτική γωνία των ηρώων, τον Μάρκους, την Σάντρα και ένα τρίτο πρόσωπο που μέχρι το κλείσιμο της ιστορίας δεν έχουμε ιδέα ποιος είναι ή ποιος είναι ο ρόλος του στην πλοκή. Δεν μπορώ να πω πολλά διότι οι γνώσεις μου πάνω στο αστυνομικό μυθιστόρημα είναι όσο ποιο περιορισμένες γίνεται (είναι το πρώτο μου).
